KAKULI BUSH CAMP
Kakuli Bush Camp is a seasonal safari camp located on the confluence of the Luwi and Luangwa rivers in the picturesque South Luangwa National Park.
A lovely thatched chitenje acts as the centre of Kakuli Bush Camp. It is built on a wooden deck overlooking the grazing lawn that leads down to the two rivers and is a perfect spot in which to relax and watch the river and the wildlife meander by.
All meals, comprising breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea and dinner, are included. Most meals are served buffet-style, but for dinner you will generally be seated with the persons who have accompanied you on your safari that day, plus your guide, giving you the opportunity to discuss your experiences of the day together. However, other arrangements can certainly be accommodated. Dinner consists of a three-course meal, freshly prepared, cooked in camp and served to you at your table.
Electricity supply depends on the electricity generated during the day and so is minimal. However, mobile phone, camera, DVD player and other chargers can usually be charged for you during the day.
A laundry service is available and free of charge. Items are usually returned washed and pressed on the same day.
Kakuli Bush Camp has a selection of reference books to which you may refer, to investigate the day's sightings or to find out more about the history or geography of the area.
