Dunia Camp

Dunia Camp is situated between the prime wildlife areas of central and southern Serengeti. Dunia Camp combines elements of style and luxury with an incredible wildlife experience.

The Great Migration passes through this area that is especially known for its abundance of lion, leopard and cheetah and the rare chance it offers to see the illustrious black rhino.

The secluded setting of Dunia Camp in the Moru Kopjes is a retreat of tranquillity in the most scenic part of the Serengeti.

Dunia Camp consists of just 7 spacious en-suite tents each with flush toilets, large en-suite bathrooms and a private veranda overlooking the Kopjes. Each tent is artfully decorated in African bush camp style with extensive use of local color and material.

Authentic African and European cuisine is served in the mess/dining tent or you can enjoy dinner and drinks underneath the stars beside the camp fire.

Game drives from Dunia Camp are unlike anything else in the Southern Serengeti due to the prime and private location in the Moru Kopjes. The camp gives you access to the best that the southern and central Serengeti has to offer: the Ndutu area, the southern plains, the Moru Kopjes and the central Serengeti valley.

Typically, the Great Migration congregates on the southern Serengeti plains in the December to March period, to give birth to a next generation of wildebeest and zebra. The migratory wildebeest and zebra share the land with elephant, giraffe, Thomson gazelle and a host of other plains species. There are plenty of big cats to see in the area with large lion prides and cheetah frequently sighted.
