SKELETON COAST SAFARIS

The Skeleton Coast is situated along Namibia's Atlantic seaboard and is one of the most inhospitable, yet beautiful, places on earth.

Skeleton Coast

The Skeleton Coast is famous for the bleached whale and seal bones which covered the shore when the whaling industry was still active, as well as the skeletal shipwrecks. More than a thousand vessels of various sizes litter the coastline.

The Skeleton Coast Park is one of the least visited places on earth and a fly-in safari is the only way to experience this remote part of the Namibian coast. The Skeleton Coast is filled with contrasting landscapes - from the towering dunes to the vast, open salt pans and majestic canyons ... nowhere else will you find a location so diverse.

These landscapes host a variety of wildlife, with something new waiting to be discovered around every corner.

What to expect from a Skeleton Coast Fly-in Safari

During the course of your Skeleton Coast Safari you will experience fascinating bird's-eye views of shipwreck remains along the coast, diverse and ever-changing geological formations and the refuges of desert-dwelling animals such as the endangered black rhino and desert-adapted elephant.

Excursions are taken by Land Rover where guests will be introduced to the scenic and ecological aspects of the environment with its wide diversity of flora and fauna.
