The Skeleton Coast Safari is a 5-day fly-in safari leaving Windhoek at 07h00 in the morning with a flight to Sossusvlei which is reputed to have the highest sand dunes in the world.

From Sossusvlei we follow the Skeleton Coast via Conception Bay to the Huab Valley during the first day.

The second day continues up the coast as far as the Hoarusib Valley and the third day as far as the Kunene River, being the northern border of Namibia.

On the fourth day a flight to one of the lodges outside the Etosha National Park from where the park is visited on the fifth day.

The safari ends in Windhoek, arriving just before sunset on the fifth day.

Brief Itinerary:

  • Day 1:
    Fly from Windhoek to Sossusvlei and then via Conception Bay to the Skeleton Coast (Huab Valley)
  • Day 2:
    Excursion by vehicle to explore the Haub Valley region. Fly along the coast to Terrace Bay for a excursion by vehicle to explore the area. Fly to Purros in the Hoarusib Valley where we stay the night.
  • Day 3:
    Visit to the Himba people followed by a flight to the Kunene River. Scenic drives in the Hartmann Valley before reaching our overnight camp.
  • Day 4:
    Fly to Etosha National Park where we will explore the park on day 5.
  • Day 5:
    Game drive in Etosha and flight back to Windhoek
