Onkoshi Camp is the first luxury safari camp inside the boundaries of the Etosha National Park. Nestled on the rim of the pan on a secluded peninsula, Onkoshi Camp is a low impact, environmentally friendly establishment with only 15 units (30 beds).
The camp's location is entirely out of view of current tourist routes, and all other developments in Etosha, and thus offers a pristine, tranquil and unique experience.
Onkoshi Camp offers superb vistas over the Etosha pan, with its shimmering mirages during the hot days; dramatic sunset and sunrise textures and colours; sense of isolation and space; clear night skies; and the sights, smells and sounds of untamed and unadulterated Africa.
Onkoshi Camp consists of 14 spacious chalets and 1 honeymoon suite. All rooms have both indoor and outdoor showers, as well as a stone bath with a breathtaking view onto the pan. The rooms are built on elevated wooden decks complete with thatched roofs, insulated canvas walls and large, wooden-framed retractable doors allowing spectacular panoramic views over the Etosha Salt Pans.
There is an associated restaurant, bar area and an infinity pool overlooking the pan. All meals are set from the camp's very own 'a la carte menu'.
Activities offered at Onkoshi Camp include guided morning, afternoon and night game drives, guided nature walks and guided moonlight walks.
Access to Onkoshi Camp includes exclusive areas within the north-eastern sandveld area of Etosha which are not open to self-drive visitors.
