With the snowy peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, Amboseli National Park makes the perfect location for a short fly-in safari. Here one can always expect to see herds of elephant, Cape buffalo, giraffe, many varieties of plains game as well as a few predators.

Please note that all of our Kenya safaris can be tailor-made. This itinerary is just a suggestion and can be amended to better fit your requirements.

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or from your hotel in Nairobi for transfer to the Wilson Airport. You will be assisted to board a scheduled flight departing at 07h30 to arrive in Amboseli National Park at 08h15.

Upon arrival you will be met at the airstrip for your transfer to the lodge. Later after lunch you will be collected from the lodge for an afternoon game drive in a shared lodge vehicle. Amboseli is located in the shadows of the most famous symbol of Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro and is dubbed the 'Home of the Elephants'. Large herds, some time numbering up to 200 may be seen.

Overnight at Tortilis Camp.

Day 2: Tortilis Camp, Amboseli National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives in a shared lodge vehicle. The swamps on the east of the park attract Wildebeest, Zebra and Antelope with the predators that live off them, chiefly Lion which tend to be easy to view here. In the south, Enkongo Narok swamp attracts hippos to the larger pools and plenty of Buffalo, Buck and teeming bird life including the Jacanas that pick the way elegantly and carefully. Giraffe, Leopard, Cheetah, Caracal and Civet may be seen.

Day 3: End of your Kenya Safari

Early morning game drive in Amboseli before breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to the airstrip for a scheduled flight departing at 08h30 to arrive in Nairobi at 09h15 where you will be met at the Wilson Airport for transfer to your hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
